Keno Strategies That Work

It may not usually be looked at as the sexiest game in the realm of gambling, but keno has loads of devout followers. And it should! It’s a always entertaining lottery-ish game that’s easy to learn, abundantly available in many alternate variations, and one that will yield millions of dollars for gamblers who master its innumerable subtle rules. But let’s deal with the basic facts here.
When defining keno to newbies, some gambling experts compare it to the lottery. This is at least to some extent correct, in that both games are basically numerical. However, to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to underestimate the endless unique characteristics that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno gamblers have the power to choose the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is given an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as many (or as few) numbers as he or she wants. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your picked numbers with a standard#2 pencil like you had when you were in school.
Once you have picked your numbers, take the keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will collect exactly $.00 for your actions.
So, there you have strategy number one: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s get on to something a bit more complicated, yes?
Once you’ve marked your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and see the action happen on the big keno monitor. This is where the winning numbers are shown for us. If you have winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to dilly dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You really want to get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, and a new drawing will certainly get going within not too many minutes.
Strategy number 2: always get back to the keno booth on time!
Since you can not trust yourself to meet that five-minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty cards. When the max number of keno games (matching the number of tickets) is completed, you should then get off your lazy rump and go get your winnings.
Still another alternative is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number choices for thirty keno games or more. Heck, you can take vacation to France and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!
