Keno Strategies That Work

It won’t ordinarily be seen as the best game in the arena of gambling, but keno has loads of steadfast supporters. And so it should! It’s a consistently exciting lotto-like game that’s uncomplicated to master, abundantly available in a number of assorted styles, and one that will return mega-dollars for gamblers who master its limitless subtle intricacies. But let’s start with the beginner’s rules for now.

When explaining keno to newcomers, some gaming connoisseurs compare it to bingo. This is at least to some extent apt, in that both games are essentially numerical. However, to take that comparison too far can be to minimize the endless unique aspect that make keno so interesting. Not like bingo, keno users have the ability to pick the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is furnished with an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to pick as numerous (or as few) numbers as he desires. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your picked numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you used when you were in third grade.

After you’ve selected your numbers, take your card back to the keno pit manager at the keno stand. The clerk will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and wants help out, without a winning slip in hand, you will win precisely $.00 for your efforts.

Ok, there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us move to something a bit more advanced, what do you think?

After you’ve selected your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and watch the action happen on the video monitor. This is where the winning numbers show up for all to see. If you’ve got winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Be sure not to take too much time, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get back to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and a new keno game will surely start within five minutes.

Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your picked numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty cards. When the maximum number of keno games (fitting the number of tickets) is finished, you may then get off your numb bum and go redeem your winnings.

Yet an additional opportunity is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which usually lets you make number choices for thirty rounds or more. Hell, you can take a Swedish massage and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

So now you have learned a few necessary schemes for winning keno. If you are a knowledgeable gambler, they might seem quite obvious. However, it does not hurt to brush up on the basic strategies, and if you are a beginner player, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno games more agreeable.
